Position Overview:  

We are seeking a talented and experienced AI Solution Engineer with expertise in machine learning and computer vision to join our dynamic team. As a Solution Engineer at Axelera AI, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing AI-driven solutions tailored to our clients' specific needs. You will work closely with clients, sales teams, and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, develop solution designs, and oversee the implementation of scalable and robust machine learning systems. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and requirements for AI-driven solutions. 

  • Design end-to-end machine learning and computer vision architectures and solutions that address client needs while adhering to best practices and industry standards. 

  • Optimize the different stages of a computer vision pipeline, including pre- and post-processing. 

  • Work closely with sales teams to develop proposals, including solution designs, technical approaches, and project timelines. 

  • Lead technical discussions and presentations with clients to articulate solution designs, capabilities, and value propositions. 

  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams during solution implementation, ensuring alignment with architectural designs and project goals. 

  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate machine learning algorithms, frameworks, and technologies to achieve desired outcomes. 

  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to prototype, develop, and deploy machine learning models and applications. 

  • Conduct performance optimizations, scalability assessments, and troubleshooting to ensure robust and efficient solution delivery. 

  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning, AI technologies, and industry trends to continuously enhance expertise and contribute to innovation. 

  • Mentor junior team members, share knowledge, and foster a culture of learning and collaboration within the organization. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Proven experience (5 years) as an engineer in designing and implementing computer vision solutions.  

  • Strong proficiency in machine learning concepts, algorithms, and techniques, with hands-on experience in developing, training and deploying ML models. 

  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of state-of-art convolution- and transformer based neural networks for recognition, detection, segmentation, key-point detection, etc. 

  • Proficiency in Python and C/C++, along with experience with machine learning libraries/frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, OpenCV, Tensorflow, scikit-learn). 

  • Strong working experience with different hardware platforms, camera’s, Lidars, and other other sensors 

  • Working experience with Ubuntu and other operating systems 

  • Experience with gstreamer, Cuda, TensorRT is a plus 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. 

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

  • Experience with agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus. 

  • Relevant certifications in machine learning, cloud computing, or architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect) are desirable. 

  • A passion for innovation, continuous learning, and a collaborative mindset. 

 

Location 

We offer a flexible working arrangement, with options to:

  • Work from one of our Axelera AI offices (Leuven in Belgium, Amsterdam and Eindhoven in the Netherlands, Zurich in Switzerland, Florence and Milan in Italy or Bristol in the United Kingdom) if you're already based in the vicinity.

  • Work fully remotely from any European country (incl. the UK) you are already in.

  • Relocate with us and work from Amsterdam or Eindhoven (Netherlands) or Florence (Italy).
