KIPP
KIPP is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and strengthening the KIPP network of public charter schools across the United States. Established in 2000 with philanthropic support from Doris Fisher and Donald Fisher, the foundation was created to help expand the success of the original KIPP schools and increase access to high-quality education for students nationwide.
The KIPP Foundation works closely with schools and regional networks to establish high standards of excellence, build organizational and educational capacity, and promote accountability across the network. Through leadership development, training, resources, and strategic support, the foundation helps educators and school leaders create strong learning environments that enable students to succeed academically and personally.
Driven by a commitment to educational opportunity and student achievement, the KIPP Foundation plays a central role in advancing the network’s mission of preparing students for success in college, careers, and life while helping schools deliver lasting impact in the communities they serve.
