Code.org
Code.org® is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to computer science education in K–12 schools and increasing participation among young women and students from underrepresented groups.
Its vision is that every student, in every school, has the opportunity to learn computer science as part of their K–12 education. Code.org is a leading provider of K–12 computer science curriculum and solutions, widely used across some of the largest school districts in the United States.
The organization also created the annual Hour of Code campaign, which has introduced computer science to hundreds of millions of students worldwide and engaged more than 15% of students globally.
Through its programs and advocacy efforts, Code.org works to broaden participation in computer science and prepare students for future opportunities in a technology-driven world.
