The Workplace Experience Team makes sure that coming to work is a happy and productive experience for GoodPeople and that our employees feel like a part of a community. About the role:

As a Workplace Experience Manager, your role is so much more than an office manager. You will look after our Hong Kong office, making sure our employees have everything they need to do their jobs, and we create a comfortable, safe and modern environment for GoodPeople to keep up with the fast-paced tech industry. You will also help organize fun events and activities for our employees.

This is the role for you, if you’re excited to work on the things listed below:

  • Keep our growing office running smoothly and all of our team members happy; keep the office immaculate: clean, organized, stocked, and ready to create great things

  • Ensure employee happiness with their work environment, especially for meals catering and office maintenance (daily catering, snack orders, office supplies, and misc. office needs)

  • Assist in a variety of HR needs, including benefits administration, immigration, and compliance

  • Work with our People Ops team to plan and coordinate activities and events (e.g., team outings, company parties, in-office events, etc.)

  • Manage vendors and contractors: planning for, purchasing, and upkeep of workstations, furniture, and employee supplies

  • Act as the primary liaison between the company and office building management (e.g. repairs, building code compliance, etc.)

  • Act as the primary liaison between the company and the kitchen team

 

The skills you will need to be successful in the above:

  • 5+ years experience with office management procedures & equipment

  • Excellent verbal & written skill in English

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Tech savviness - you enjoy working with different tools and technology

  • Good judgment, empathy, and trustworthiness

  • Broad-thinking but a detail-oriented mindset

  • You care deeply about what you do

  • Self-contained, or minimal guideline needed, but understand the importance of communication

  • Enjoy wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment

Less experienced candidates would be considered for an Associate Workplace Experience Manager

The interview process:

  • An introductory call with someone from our talent acquisition team. They want to hear more about your background, what you are looking for, and why you’d like to join GoodNotes

  • A short take-home assignment to demonstrate your skills

  • A role specific interview with someone from our Workplace Experience team to get to know more about your experience

  • A call with your hiring manager. This is the person who will be managing you day to day, working on your growth and development with you as well as support you throughout your career at GoodNotes

  • A call to meet the team. You will get the chance to speak to 2 or 3 people you’d be working closely with will with 2-3 people you’d be working closely with. This will be a 45 minute interview focused more on your culture fit with GoodNotes. You will also be expected to prepare a short presentation on something you are passionate about.
