Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the VP, GTM Enablement will play a vital role in the growth of 1Passwords revenue streams. In this role you will design, execute, and iterate the enablement and solution strategies and programs for our global Go-To-Market (GTM) team. By leveraging your deep sales, enablement, and solutions knowledge, you will play a key role in developing and executing on scalable strategies that empower our GTM teams, enhance customer engagement through sales cycles, and accelerate revenue growth.

This is a Remote opportunity within Canada and the US.

What we're looking for:

  • 10+ years in a Sales Enablement & Solutions experience with at least 5 years of experience leading more than 1 team and leading leaders. Preferred experience in the Saas industry and is a bonus if experience in cyber/data security.

  • Proven experience in sales enablement, solution engineering, or a related field, with a strong track record of driving significant revenue growth through effective enablement programs.

  • Experience of building sales methodologies that improve sellers outcomes

  • Demonstrated experience in successfully developing and scaling new and complex sales enablement programs in new and emerging markets as well as for new products

  • Good understanding of technology solutions and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value. 

  • Exceptional communication skills, story-telling and presentation skills

  • Proven success building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders

  • Experience in collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Product & Engineering - balancing competing interests and needs across the organization to define a clear roadmap 

  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to collect and analyze data and translate into business insights.

  • Strong people leadership skills with a proven track record of building and scaling teams and developing high performing leaders 

  • Bonus: understanding of identity and access management (IAM) and/or cybersecurity markets.

  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders by providing great enablement and solutions needed to help close sales.

  • Attract, develop and retain a high performing team that fosters a culture of continuous learning, innovation and belonging.

  • Sales Enablement:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and deliver just-in-time sales training programs, content, and playbooks that align with the GTM goals and objectives.

  • Evaluate and optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and win rates.

  • Oversee the LMS tools and strategies for GTM

  • Successfully onboard all GTM hires in a way that reduces ramp time and ensures all new hires are set up for success.  

  • Work closely with GTM Leadership to deliver on-going training that is comprehensive and equips GTM Teams with the right knowledge and skills needed to effectively sell our product and service.

  • Implement and monitor sales methodologies that improve sales outcomes

  • Partner with marketing to refine and disseminate relevant market and competitive intelligence to empower sales representatives with valuable insights.

  • With all GTM teams to align on standards for content such as one pagers, case studies, playbooks etc.

  • Leveraging inputs from the Marketing team you will ensure that Personas are well documented, easy to understand and are tailored to sales unique needs.

  • Collaborate to identify training needs, design curriculums, and facilitate training sessions, ensuring that the latest industry knowledge and consultative selling best practices are incorporated.

  • Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales enablement programs

  • Solutions:

  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure alignment between customer requirements and product capabilities.

  • Be a technical expert, providing guidance and expertise to internal and experience stakeholders 

  • Oversee collaboration with Sales Directors and Account Executives to align on strategy and approach for client demos.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, sales teams, and product teams

  • Define & execute the strategy for delivery of product expertise in the sales cycle, including re-engineering the demo process as required to ensure maximum impact and effectiveness.

  • Ensure technical discovery sessions with customers are addressing all buying personas with a detailed implementation plan, including event management, marketing operations, data & analytics, IT and information security (with support from sales leadership, product, engineering, legal and information security teams)

  • Provide customer feedback to appropriate channels to help drive product enhancement and servicing strategy

  • Assist in closing strategic, large scale and/or complex sales opportunities by demonstrating a complete understanding of and resolving questions regarding our product, solutions and services.

USA-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $213,000 USD and $288,000 USD and is commission eligible. The role is also eligible for immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.

Canada-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $204,000 CAD and $276,000 CAD and is commission eligible. The role is also eligible for immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.

At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.

We believe in the power of remote work, but we also recognize that some in-person connection with team members and customers is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, occasional travel for in-person engagement will be a part of this role. This may include but is not limited to bi-annual department-wide offsites, quarterly department meetings and periodic customer events. These events will typically be held in varying locations across Canada and the USA. In leadership roles, you can expect to travel once per month on average.
