JOB TITLE: VP, PRODUCT MANAGEMENT LOCATION: REMOTE

THE ROLE:  We are seeking a dynamic product leader to lead and grow a high-performing team, develop visionary product strategies, prioritize customer needs, advocate for design excellence, foster cross-functional collaboration, and manage key stakeholder relationships effectively. This role will be pivotal in shaping our strategic direction.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Team Leadership and Growth: Lead with a focus on team development, driving productivity and accountability, while consistently setting and achieving meaningful outcomes.

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement product strategies adopted company-wide, setting a visionary direction that inspires and motivates the entire organization. Align goals and plans with executives across functional areas, becoming a trusted advisor and leader within the organization.

  • Customer-Centric Approach: Lead with a customer-centric approach that shapes team culture and priorities, consistently prioritizing customer needs in product development.

  • Experience Excellence: Advocate for design excellence and support user research initiatives to inform strategies and validate improvements, providing impactful feedback on the user experience.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build deep, trustful relationships to drive powerful collaboration across key company functions, including but not limited to marketing, engineering, and content, while effectively resolving internal conflict in a productive, positive manner to move past blockers.

  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Masterfully handle important stakeholder relationships across all levels and guide and mentor the product management team to do the same. 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 10+ years of work experience in building exceptional product experiences at scale

  • Exceptional track record as a product leader in high-growth and fast-paced, ambiguous environments, including in startup and scale-up or larger companies 

  • Experience in building and maturing product teams and strong exposure to design, data science, and support functions. Experience running these diverse teams is a plus.

  • Ability to drive cultural transformation based on modern development methodologies in partnership with engineering

  • Ability to lead through influence, both with internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to make decisions and resolve conflicts around complex people issues

  • Ability and commitment to drive DEI initiatives

  • Ability to balance business needs, a sense of urgency, and shipping high-quality and pragmatic solutions.

  • Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, training sessions, or team events.

 

NICE TO HAVES: 

  • Experience in Music Technology

  • Background in SaaS (Software as a Service)

 

The national pay range for this role is $280,000 - $297,500. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.
