Reporting directly to the CPO, the VP of Product Management-Platform executive role will be the owner of the end-to-end user journey and execution layer of the EDB Postgres AI platform. You will lead the teams responsible for Platform Services, Hybrid Management, Telemetry, Migrations, and our Partner Marketplace Integration, ensuring a seamless, high-value, and repeatable  experience for every EDB customer.

Your impact will be:

Platform & Signature Service Ownership

• Work with the architecture team and SMEs to define  the strategic vision and roadmap for the platform user experiences and services,, ensuring a unified and consistent user experience across the entire product portfolio.

• Lead the execution and delivery of all agreed-upon Signature Experiences (SEs), translating product features into clear, demonstrable, and predictable customer outcomes.

• Drive the product requirements for the Platform UX (User Experience) layer, prioritizing features that enhance usability, simplify complex workflows, and integrate agentic capabilities.

• Drive operational excellence: reliability, performance, cost-efficiency, scalability, security, compliance across our platform services.

• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and vendor solutions; decide build vs buy; create technology strategy for the platform.

Core Platform Service Delivery

• Oversee the execution and delivery of key platform services, including Hybrid Manager, Telemetry, Migrations, and the Partner Marketplace.

• Define the product roadmap for Hybrid Manager enhancements, focusing on agentic capabilities that empower clients to monitor, manage, and take automated action on their distributed EDB environments.

• Establish and drive the strategy for the Telemetry pipeline to capture critical usage, adoption, and performance data, creating a data-driven feedback loop for the entire Product organization.

• Guide the Migrations roadmap, ensuring a seamless and high-scale path for customers moving from legacy systems to EDB Postgres AI.

Strategic Integration & Partnerships

• Work in tight coordination with the Solution Architecture team to ensure the platform supports the definition and execution of certified Reference Architectures (RAs).

• Act as the primary Product stakeholder for the Partner Marketplace, defining technical integration requirements to expand the ecosystem and deliver high-value, integrated solutions to customers.

• Collaborate closely with the OLTP & HA and Analytics & AI product leaders to ensure core platform services are built to meet their feature and performance requirements.

What you will bring:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in product leadership, with at least 5 years at a VP level or higher, managing complex platform-as-a-service (PaaS) or database products.

• Deep technical fluency in modern database technology, cloud-native architecture (Kubernetes), data migration strategies, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

• Proven ability to define and deliver a world-class User Experience (UX) for highly technical, enterprise-grade software.

• Demonstrable experience managing product teams responsible for infrastructure, monitoring, or core platform services (e.g., control planes, telemetry systems).

• Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical roadmaps and strategic visions to executive leadership, engineering, and sales teams.
