What you'll do

  • We're seeking a skilled video editor to transform our video marketing with polished case studies, product showcase videos, training materials, social media content, and more. This role focuses on post-production expertise to convert Zoom recordings into engaging, professional video content for multiple purposes and develop sleek videos curated for Truv’s audiences, both B2B and B2C.

Key deliverables

  • Case Study Videos: Transform webinar conversations into compelling customer stories, create structured narrative edits from Zoom recordings, highlight key success metrics and outcomes

  • Product Videos: Create product demonstrations and overviews, create feature highlight reels, structure technical demonstrations for clarity

  • Training Materials: Create focused tutorial segments, develop step-by-step guides from demonstrations, package technical sessions into digestible formats

  • Social Media Content: Extract LinkedIn-optimized clips from case studies, create short-form highlights from longer content, develop engagement-focused video snippets

Key responsibilities

  • Edit and enhance webinar recordings

  • Create compelling narratives from conversation-style recordings

  • Add professional graphics, transitions, key callouts, subtitles and text overlays

  • Design engaging motion graphics to enhance content

  • Incorporate brand elements and style guidelines

  • Optimize audio quality from webinar recordings

  • Create multiple edits of varying lengths from source material

  • Ensure consistency across all deliverables

  • Ideate and create branded videos to enhance Truv’s mission

Required qualifications

  • 3+ years of video editing experience

  • Proven expertise in transforming long-form content into engaging videos

  • Advanced proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects)

  • Experience with motion graphics and text animation

  • Understanding of social media video requirements

  • Excellence in narrative structure and pacing

Technical skills

  • Advanced video editing

  • Motion graphics creation

  • Audio enhancement and cleanup

  • Text animation

  • Graphic design integration

  • Format optimization

  • Multi-platform delivery

  • Sound mixing and enhancement

Software requirements

  • Professional video editing suite

  • Motion graphics software

  • Audio editing capabilities

  • Asset management system

Project expectations

  • Quick turnaround capabilities

  • Ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment

  • Typical projects range from 2-4 days

  • Available for feedback and revisions

  • Bandwidth to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Understanding of business and technical content

Compensation

  • $45-70/hour, based on experience

  • Project-based work with no retainer

  • Contractor position (1099)
