Video Editor
We’re looking for a YouTube video editor who understands storytelling, pacing, thumbnails, keywords, and how to turn great content into a channel people binge and subscribe to.
This role is all about building traction, growing a YouTube channel, and helping shape a recognizable brand in the real estate + business + mom-life space.
What You’ll Be Editing
Our content is a blend of:
Real estate coaching + strategy
Social media growth + content systems
Mom life, work/life balance, and behind-the-scenes real talk
Think: valuable, relatable, high-energy content that educates and keeps people watching.
What You’ll Do:
Edit longform YouTube videos (10–30 min) with strong pacing, hooks, pattern interrupts, and clean storytelling
Cut and optimize YouTube Shorts from longform content
Design high-converting thumbnails (Canva mastery required)
Add dynamic text overlays, graphics, b-roll, sound effects, and light motion where it enhances retention
Collaborate on video structure, hooks, and flow, not just edits
Implement YouTube SEO best practices: titles, descriptions, keywords, chapters, and trends
Use ChatGPT (or similar tools) when needed for hooks, titles, descriptions, and idea refinement
Maintain consistent branding, tone, and visual identity
Stay ahead of YouTube trends, algorithm shifts, and best practices
You're a Great Fit if:
Live and breathe YouTube strategy, not just editing
Understand retention, watch time, CTR, and why thumbnails matter
Are a Canva power user (thumbnails, graphics, text animations)
Know how to edit for both YouTube AND YouTube Shorts
Understand SEO, keywords, and how videos get discovered
Can take feedback well and also confidently bring creative ideas to the table
Love building something long-term and watching a channel gro
Tools and Skills:
Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
Canva (non-negotiable)
YouTube Studio + analytics familiarity
ChatGPT or AI tools for ideation, SEO, and optimization
Organized workflows and file management
