We are hiring for an experiencedVideo Editor to join a growing wedding film team in Sydney. In this role, youll help speed up the turnaround of full-length wedding films and create eye-catching, short edits for Instagram and other social platforms. Work Hours:60 hours/month (with potential to transition to full-time); AU working hours Work Set-Up:Remote (PH-based); Independent Contractor Salary:$360-600/month (based on a 15-hour workweek, based on level of experience) Key Responsibilities:

Reels Editing (Instagram & Social Platforms):

• Create short, engaging Reels (1530 seconds) from raw footage and finished wedding films

• Select and add appropriate music from Instagram trends, licensed tracks, or Artlist library

• Add captions and on-screen text to enhance storytelling and accessibility

• Export videos in the correct aspect ratio and resolution, primarily vertical formats with some variation

Main Wedding Film Editing:

• Edit main highlight films, typically 46 minutes in length

• Package full-length speeches and ceremonies into polished, shareable edits

Role Requirements:

• 3++ years of hands-on experience editing

• Proficiency with professional video editing software such asAdobe Premiere Pro,Final Cut Pro,DaVinci Resolveor similar

• Familiarity with Instagram Reels, short-form video trends, and matching footage to trending audio

• Experience adding and syncing captions and on-screen text to video content using various captioning tools.

• With creative mindset, strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work

• Collaborative, organized and with strong interpersonal skills

Nice to Have

• Experience editing wedding content

• Knowledge of Instagram growth strategies and basic content planning
