Conga is looking for an experienced and accomplished Vice President of Product and Portfolio Marketing to execute market strategies that position the company for long-term growth. This role will collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, the Office of the CTO, and the Marketing organization to plan, execute, and measure audience- and product-focused Go To Market motions across product pillars and industries, all in support of Conga’s market-leading position in Revenue Lifecycle Management. The portfolio covers multiple analyst-defined categories and serves different departmental buyers and budgets globally. Additionally, this role includes guiding a Competitive Intelligence team.

Why it’s a big deal…

This role is crucial for driving marketing strategy and capitalizing on market opportunities while strengthening our product positioning and messaging. You will act as a strategic conduit between our sellers and product teams, delivering a clear, consistent, and differentiated value proposition for our target markets.

Are you the person we’re looking for?

You will oversee, mentor, and develop a world-class Product and Portfolio Marketing organization where PMMs are valued as cross-functional collaborators. By partnering with Product Management and Field organizations, you will develop a compelling marketing strategy, market driven positioning for key audiences, for existing products and new launches - and shape the product roadmap based on market and customer insights.

Here’s what will give you an edge…

Proven Management: 15+ years of experience in product marketing with a focus on overseeing go-to-market strategy and competitive intelligence, and 7+ years managing teams in B2B SAAS.

Enterprise Experience: Experience running an Enterprise product marketing team, with a deep understanding of the enterprise buying cycle, product management lifecycle, sales methodologies, and pipeline generation strategies.

Strategic Vision: Ability to present effectively to C+E level audiences, communicating vision, positioning, differentiators, strengths, vertical market value propositions, and market trends.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Exceptional collaboration skills across all levels and functions, effectively driving results and coordinating across boundaries to launch new programs.

Analytical & Creative Problem-Solving: Strong reasoning skills combined with creative problem-solving abilities to identify strategic differentiators and incorporate them into marketing assets and field content.

Customer-Centric Approach: A clear understanding of marketing nuances across vertical markets, regions, and government sectors, incorporating key messaging into persona-based sales plays.

Innovative Thinking: You take initiative to research new tactics and find new ways to improve marketing strategies and campaign effectiveness.

Expert Relationship Builder: You genuinely enjoy building relationships and have a proven track record of productive engagement across analysts, customers, and influencers.

Clear Communicator: You are clear and concise when you speak and write, ensuring your messages are received and understood. You engage in collaborative discussions and initiate them regularly.

Process-Driven: You inspire your team to be customer-focused and articulate a written or visual story in a straightforward, easy-to-understand way.

Adaptable: You understand the nuances of marketing across different vertical markets, regions, and government sectors, and can incorporate key messaging into persona-based sales plays.

Education: Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
