Grafana Labs is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Velocity Account Executive. The Velocity Sales team operates within our self-serve group and is responsible for our SMB segment. 

In this position, you will be responsible for driving both new business acquisition and existing customer growth within your assigned book of business. Your primary objectives will be to close new business and maintain active engagements with current month to month customers that indicate a propensity to acquire our contract offering. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual sales targets

  • Accurately forecast business on a quarterly basis

  • Spearhead the growth & adoption of Grafana Cloud through our month to month customer base 

  • Respond to and qualify incoming requests from our new upgrade and new trial cohorts 

  • Be able to understand and convey the value of both Grafana Cloud Self-Serve and Contracted 

  • Partner with cross functional teams to share customer feedback 

  • Become an expert in our product and add value in every user interaction 

  • Manage quote creation, order processing, and day-to-day customer requests

Requirements

  • Located in Germany

  • Fluent in English and German (both written and spoken)

  • 1+ Years of Experience in Software Sales

  • Experience with OSS business model is preferred but not required

  • Demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement in a highly competitive environment (top 10% performer)

  • Adaptable and with demonstrable experience in high velocity technology companies

  • Experience using Salesforce

  • You will need to be an excellent communicator in all channels (in person, online, in writing) and able to form strong working relationships both in person and virtually

  • Experience using Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC is ideal

In Germany, the OTE compensation range for this role is EUR 85,000 - EUR 95,000.  Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process. Benefits include equity, bonus (if applicable) and other benefits listed here.
