User Acceptance Tester I

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Job Responsibilities
Define and document business requirements in partnership with business and IT stakeholders
Plan, develop, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system testing strategies
Perform end-to-end and integration testing to ensure solutions meet business and functional requirements
Analyze system enhancements to assess process impact, financial implications, and technical performance
Identify, track, and manage defects, including severity, frequency, and resolution
Validate system functionality using data analysis and testing tools
Document test results, summarize findings, and obtain business approval
Monitor post-production performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and clarify requirements
Proactively identify risks, recommend solutions, and support continuous improvement efforts
Support user adoption through documentation, training, and system demonstrations
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience, Associate's degree with 5+ years of experience, or High School Diploma with 7+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing and system validation.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with defect tracking and testing tools (e.g., JIRA, HEAT, SBM)
Knowledge of software development life cycle (Agile and Waterfall)
Experience with data analysis and system validation techniques
Familiarity with healthcare systems, revenue cycle management, and HIPAA
Knowledge of Labcorp systems

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Pay Range: $45,000 - $60,000
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
