As our AMER PreSales team continues to experience rapid growth, with a particular focus on Upmarket strategic initiatives, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Upmarket PreSales Director. This newly created role will play a crucial part in shaping the future of HubSpot Upmarket sales efforts, driving growth, and expanding our market impact to provide an exceptional experience to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a talented team of PreSales leaders and team members across HubSpot Mid-Market and Corporate segments, leveraging data-driven insights and strategic partnerships to achieve our ambitious goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team of Solutions Engineers and Solutions Architects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and driving a culture of excellence, that celebrates diversity, inclusion, and belonging
Provide strategic direction to Upmarket PreSales teams using data, KPIs, and OKRs, collaborating closely with senior leadership to set targets and drive growth
Play an active role in cross-functional collaboration to influence, deliver and implement HubSpot’s Upmarket strategy, enhancing feedback loops for product development
Contribute to the evolution of Solutions Engineer and Solution Architect roles in the Upmarket space, driving innovation and excellence in customer solutions
Experience and Expertise:
Deep Pre-Sales Experience: Has experience leading technical teams in an Upmarket environment, demonstrating the ability to manage complexity and scale a team.
People Leadership: Has second-line management experience, with a proven record of leading large teams, fostering a diverse, inclusive, and purposeful team environment, and has led PreSales strategy to accelerate sales, developing technical go-to-market motions for large customer acquisition.
Stakeholder Management: Extensive experience influencing internally (at all levels of the organization including senior leadership teams) and externally (customers and partners). Experience building and maintaining strong relationships, with the ability to build trust, influence, and work cross-functionally.

Cash compensation range: 240000-360000 USD Annually This resource will help guide how we recommend thinking about the range you see. Learn more about HubSpot’s compensation philosophy. The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
