UI UX Designer
Apply user-centered design principles to understand problems and guide product direction Translate user goals and real-world scenarios into clear workflows and interface designs Conduct or support user research, synthesize findings, and ensure they inform design decisions Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile Validate concepts and designs through testing and incorporate feedback into iterative improvements Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure clarity on requirements, user needs, and design intent Ensure designs follow accessibility best practices and support a wide range of user needs Contribute to and apply a consistent design system across products Communicate design rationale effectively through presentations, storytelling, and facilitation Advocate for design best practices and contribute to improving design processes Strong understanding of interaction design, visual hierarchy, layout, and information architecture Able to design for complex systems or multi-step workflows Uses a test-and-learn approach and incorporates evidence from research and feedback Proficient in Figma and able to create clear design documentation Passionate about designing products that solve real user problems Open to feedback and able to provide constructive critique Good time management skills and ability to deliver on commitments REQUIRED Proficient with Figma Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Jira or Miro Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or modern front-end frameworks (understanding only; implementation not required) REQUIRED 3-5 years in a Product Design or User Experience role Portfolio demonstrating product design, workflow design, research-informed decisions, and visual design skills Strong understanding of design processes, from research to prototyping to testing Experience designing for business software or other complex applications Experience working in an agile or iterative development environment Bachelor's degree, diploma, or post-secondary training in Product Design, User Experience, or a related field preferred
