We’re looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Intellectual Property Senior Policy Specialist to support Reddit’s Trust & Safety Policy (TSP) team. TSP focuses on a variety of trust and safety areas, with a particular emphasis on protecting the expression rights, safety, and private information of communities and users across Reddit through strategic solutions that balance defensible risk and promote responsible business practices. Within TSP, the Intellectual Property Policy team develops principles-based strategies, policies, and workflows necessary to handle global legal requests regarding intellectual property issues.
What You’ll Do:
Expertly handle third party copyright and trademark requests, applying high standards of care and attention to detail.
Handle sensitive, sometimes urgent internal escalations with poise, excellent judgment, and clear communication.
Identify and communicate trends and synthesize customer/partner feedback to influence program & team objectives. Bring your analysis to a level that can be shared with senior stakeholders, focusing on insights.
Define and measure operational metrics to evaluate timeliness and quality of service, policies and procedures.
Proactively take ownership of assigned work/projects from conception to completion, while actively seeking feedback and proactively communicating about progress.
Review existing processes and make recommendations for impactful and right-sized solutions and efficiency gains.
Leverage tools and training models to enhance policy enforcement, and work closely with product and policy teams to support the development and refinement of these tools at Reddit.
Work with the Legal team, and cross-functionally with Safety, Community, and Engineering to efficiently carry out your responsibilities.
You will join the Trust & Safety Policy global Emergency Disclosure Requests (EDRs) and Emergency Removal Requests (ERRs) rotation that may require on-call work from time to time.

What We’re Looking For:
4+ years directly relevant work experience, specifically handling global legal requests regarding intellectual property issues.
Critical thinker who can thoughtfully create and apply tailored solutions for a wide range of challenges.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with cross functional partners and bring alignment across multiple functions.
Proactive, motivated self-starter who thrives in unstructured environments; able to work and make informed decisions independently.
Strong analytical skills to assess root causes and use data-driven approaches towards tailored, thoughtful solutions.
