Training Enablement Manager
The Training Enablement Manager at GuidePoint Security LLC ('GuidePoint') is responsible for leading the training infrastructure, learning management systems, and instructional design initiatives that support all GuidePoint employees. This role will report directly to the Director of Learning and Development and will serve as the primary point of contact for training operations, vendor partnerships, and learning technology management. The Training Enablement Manager is expected to work independently with minimal supervision, provide strategic leadership on training priorities, and ensure that GuidePoint's learning ecosystem supports the organization's growth and technical excellence.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and partners regarding training enablement programs and strategic partnerships.
Oversee and manage all aspects of the Learning Management System (LMS), including page creation, catalog development, user and group management, and automations for assignments and grouping.
Determine and set priorities for LMS page and catalog development based on strategic business needs and employee requirements.
Manage and resolve technical problems related to the LMS and training technology platforms.
Create, maintain, and manage Jira queues and dashboards for Training Enablement to track projects, requests, and deliverables.
Define, develop, and implement internal certification and accreditation programs to recognize and credential learner achievements.
Develop and maintain training plan templates for technical, sales, and back-office roles across the organization.
Oversee the creation and alignment of vendor training paths in the LMS, ensuring they align with vendor partner vision and GuidePoint objectives.
Manage training requests submitted by employees, prioritizing based on strategic business needs and available resources.
Manage instructional design projects, deadlines, and priorities, coordinating with Instructional Designers and subject matter experts.
Maintain annual training requirements in the LMS and pull required training reports for stakeholders and compliance purposes.
Create, assign, and maintain badges in the LMS to recognize skills and achievements.
Upload and maintain live training recordings in a central repository for ongoing employee access.
Manage training platform licenses including Immersive Labs, PluralSight, and NFR (Not For Resale) licenses and permissions.
Implement and manage processes for continuous improvement of training content, leveraging feedback and data analytics.
Oversee technical assessments for all employees and candidates, coordinating with Lab Builders and technical teams.
Ensure regular and timely communications to all key stakeholders regarding training operations and initiatives.
Collaborate across the entire organization to identify training needs, gather feedback, and optimize learning experiences.
Stay current with learning and technology trends, evaluating and recommending new tools and approaches.
Other responsibilities as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in learning and development or training operations.
Minimum of 3 years of experience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably Docebo.
Proven experience managing vendor relationships and training partnerships.
Experience with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot LMS and training platform issues.
Experience with training platforms such as Immersive Labs, PluralSight, or similar technical training systems.
Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
Basic knowledge of information security and cyber operations is desired.
Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent organizational and project management skills with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
Experience utilizing remote teleconferencing tools and working in a remote environment.
Microsoft Office skills appropriate to training operations and reporting.
