About the role
As a Team Lead at Reserv, you will be a working leader providing support to a Claims Manager with leadership and claim technical responsibilities. Leadership responsibilities will include overseeing work completed by Commercial Total Loss Auto Claims adjusters. We are looking for your background and experience to drive operational effectiveness, particularly through leveraging technology and analytics to improve efficiency and performance.
You will serve a critical role with the team, the customers, and the client. This role balances management responsibilities with individual contributor responsibilities when volume dictates the need for hands-on claim support.

What we need
We need you to do all the things typical to the role:
Demonstrate flexibility by moving between claims handling, coaching, and feedback Maintain agility with the ability to pivot priorities quickly Consistently achieve or exceed goals while overcoming obstacles Implement and maintain best practices for claims handling, including intake, investigation, evaluation, settlement, and recovery Align team performance with client and customer expectations Serve as a resource for escalated claims Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional development Attract, hire, retain, and help train high-performing team members in partnership with leadership Prepare and present comprehensive claims reports, metrics, and analysis to clients and customers; advise on claim trends and loss mitigation
Job Duties
Serve as backup leader when the Manager is out of office Manage and support direct reports Oversee onboarding tasks, system access, and new hire cultural immersion Act as a subject matter expert for first-line questions, escalations, and roundtable discussions Exercise increased reserve and payment authority and assist with moderate claim reviews Identify trends and discussion topics for team huddles and Elevated Claims Experience workshops Serve as a Customer Obsession Champion by advocating for a customer-centric mindset across the organization
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of commercial total loss experience focused on transportation claims adjusting, ideally including: Total Loss adjusting First-party Comprehensive and Collision Third-party Property Damage Liability Ride Share (TNC/Livery) experience (required)
2+ years of leadership experience, preferably in a remote environment Comfortable with technology and eager to evolve claims systems and processes to drive efficiency and better outcomes Demonstrated commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detail Strong integrity, ethics, and accountability when handling sensitive and confidential information Bachelor’s degree preferred (lack of one should not prevent you from applying if other qualifications are met) Active adjuster license required — resident state license if available, otherwise a Designated Home State (DHS) license
