Job Summary:

Nextech is seeking a highly skilled Tier III - Technical Integration Specialist – Data Services to provide advanced technical services and support for customers and third-party vendors using Nextech Data Services products, such as Advanced Analytics and DataMart. This externally facing role focuses on educating customers and vendors on Data Services processes while troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

The Technical Integration Specialist collaborates closely with the product team (Customer Excellence), as well as Support, Implementation, and Product Development teams. The primary objective of this role is to address customer and vendor inquiries and resolve data service issues efficiently within established SLAs.

 

All activities must be in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA and other regulations, as appropriate.  

Essential Functions

  • Technical Support:

  • Perform in-depth technical research to analyze and resolve customer issues, including data analysis and functional understanding.

  • Work directly with customers and third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve Data Services issues.

  • Resolve configuration-based defects and other non-development issues.

  • Customer Education:

  • Support customers and vendors on best practices for using Nextech’s DataMart and Advanced Analytics products.

  • Contribute to and maintain a knowledge base of Data Services FAQs and best practices.

  • Collaboration and Communication:

  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, Implementation, Development and Product Management teams to address high-impact issues.

  • Bridge communication between escalated customers and Product Development teams to ensure timely resolution.

  • Technical Expertise:

  • Develop and maintain expert-level proficiency in all technical aspects of Nextech’s Data Services solutions.

  • Provide technical guidance and context to Development teams for resolving complex issues.

  • Process Improvement:

  • Identify recurring issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for Data Services processes.

Minimum Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience supporting/developing SaaS B2B APIs and Data technologies.

  • Strong experience with database queries and data management

  • Strong knowledge of SQL tools, especially Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Management Studio.

  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Self-motivated and a self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and personal accountability.

  • Excellent critical thinking skills and demonstrated problem solving with the ability to think strategically and creatively.

  • Strong application knowledge, understanding how solution functionality works within the context of a technical environment.

  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, success-driven team environment.

  • Good project management skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

  • Creativity, motivation, and a strong attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with Jira and Agile software development.

  • A customer-centric approach to problems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or certification in a technical field related to software engineering.

  • Prior experience with healthcare operations or IT experience is a plus.

  • Certification in data management technologies or related technologies.

  • Experience working with data analytics tools, such Domo.

Working Environment/Physical Demands

  • Remote

  • Long-distance or air travel as needed

  • Activities require a significant amount of work in front of a computer monitor.
