About the team:

You will be joining the team behind the award-winning Goodnotes iPad app. This team is responsible for building our product for all Apple platforms and ensuring that our users have an exceptional experience using Goodnotes, whether on mobile, tablet, or desktop. 

About the role:

As a Technical Program Manager on our Goodnotes for Apple Platforms team, you will tackle a diverse range of complex projects that touch on multiple product surfaces. You will be collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders within the team and the wider org. A successful candidate for this role is someone who is constantly looking for ways to improve productivity within the team, has a keen eye for automation, and has exceptional communication skills. 

This is the role for you, if you’re excited to work on the things listed below:

  • Be responsible for PRDs and Jira tickets

  • Manage delivery and coordination across functions

  • Support execution for the lead product manager of the team

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, such as engineers, designers, marketing, customer support and more

  • Work with stakeholders to plan requirements, set prioritizations, estimate timelines, track delivery, and ensure smooth operation

  • Communicate clearly progress and outcomes to stakeholders ranging from ICs to leadership

  • Constantly look for ways to optimize processes, enabling smoother collaboration within the product team

The skills you will need to be successful in the above:

  • 4+ years experience as a technical program manager

  • Proven track record in organizing and driving complex initiatives and getting things done

  • Experience facilitating processes and programs from concept to delivery

  • Ability to articulate complex ideas efficiently

  • Experience in a highly cross-functional environment with technical stakeholders. You don’t need to be an engineer or designer, but you need to be able to think like one and understand the language 

  • Expert in tools like Jira and Notion

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

The interview process:

  • An introductory call with someone from our talent acquisition team. They want to hear more about your background, what you are looking for, and why you’d like to join GoodNotes

  • A call with our founder and CEO, Steven, to discuss your background and skillset for this role more in detail and to assess your fit for the role

  • A meet the team call with 2 or 3 GoodPeople you’d be working closely with at Goodnotes
