At Sift, we aim to accelerate the advent of next-generation machines, improving our lives on and off the planet. We’re at an inflection point where connected machines will enter nearly everything we do. Sift is building data infrastructure underpinning the engineering, manufacturing, and operation of these machines. Our system is inspired by processes and software built at SpaceX for Dragon, Falcon, Starlink, and Starship. We’re a fast-growing startup with engineers and operators from SpaceX, Google, Palantir, and Astra, and backed by the best investors in the sector. We’re looking for high-performing marketers to lay the marketing foundation to support our GTM efforts at Sift.

As a Technical Product Marketer, you'll be at the forefront of crafting and executing strategies that bring our products and features to market. Collaborating closely with product and engineering teams, you'll spearhead initiatives to bring new products and features to market and ensure teams are educated on capabilities, use cases, and value of each product and feature. From owning and developing product and feature release schedules, to developing product related sales assets and product content, you'll be instrumental in driving product comprehension and adoption in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the owner for product and feature release and the development of internal and external supporting materials

  • Develop technical content including product blog posts and educational materials for a highly technical audience

  • Define and develop the positioning of our products and features and the customer value we provide

  • Understand the competitive landscape and create supporting sales assets

  • Create product education plan and the necessary sales assets to effectively train and support account executives on when and how to best use assets

  • Provide input to pricing and packaging strategies

  • Lead cross functional product and feature launch meetings and manage external GTM initiatives, tasks and execution cross functionally

  • Keep product marketing materials and product web pages up to date

  • Deeply understand and document our audience and buyers and provide feedback to product and engineering teams

  • Run market research studies to better understand our customers’ challenges and partner with product on focus groups for feature feedback

  • Create product content for training, web, landing  pages, videos, demos, sales decks, customer  assets, campaigns

  • Step in to support additional marketing responsibilities and develop the marketing culture as we build out the team

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • You’ve developed your Product Marketing skills for at least 5 years in enterprise B2B SaaS and have been held accountable for pipeline results

  • Your expertise lies in deeply understanding technical products and translating features into customer value

  • You’ve worked hand-in-hand with product and engineering teams to create product and marketing materials and have experience training sales on new features

  • You're the go-to person for insightful product market research, leveraging your expertise to provide invaluable support to the product and engineering teams

  • You’ve embraced AI as a tool to accelerate and improve outcomes vs. do the job for you

  • You excel in environments where agility and adaptability are key, bringing your project management prowess to the table to develop efficient processes that set the foundation for success in early-stage companies

  • You thrive in collaborative environments, forging strong relationships across teams

  • Your ability to convey complex ideas with clarity and impact is second to none.
