We believe that we can make big changes happen and improve the daily lives of millions of people by bringing quality software to the federal space.&nbsp;</p> <p>We're looking for a <strong>Technical Lead</strong> to own architecture and integration for a cloud-native clinical decision support platform embedded in VA's EHR ecosystem.</p> <p><strong>What you'll be doing:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead <strong>FHIR</strong>, <strong>SMART on FHIR</strong>, and <strong>CDS Hooks</strong> integrations with VA EHR systems including <strong>VistA/CPRS</strong> and <strong>Oracle Health</strong></li> <li>Define and drive system architecture and microservices approach for the platform</li> <li>Set technical direction for the engineering team and stay hands-on where it counts</li> <li>Champion <strong>DevSecOps</strong>, <strong>CI/CD</strong>, and containerization practices across frontend and backend teams</li> <li>Evaluate <strong>AWS</strong> services and recommend cloud-native improvements post-migration</li> <li>Bridge the gap between engineering, product, and stakeholders — translating technical complexity into clear direction</li> </ul> <br> <p><strong>What you’ll bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hands-on <strong>FHIR</strong> and API integration experience in complex, integration-heavy environments</li> <li>Experience integrating with VA EHR systems such as <strong>VistA/CPRS</strong> or <strong>Oracle Health</strong> strongly preferred</li> <li>Proficiency with <strong>AWS</strong>, <strong>Kubernetes</strong>, and <strong>Docker</strong></li> <li>Experience with <strong>Terraform</strong> and <strong>Helm</strong> is a plus</li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>VA IAM</strong>, <strong>EntraID</strong>, or <strong>Okta</strong> is a plus</li> <li>A natural leader who earns trust through technical credibility, not just title</li> <li>Thrives in a remote, collaborative <strong>Agile</strong> environment and genuinely enjoys mentoring engineers and building team culture</li> <li>Communicates clearly across technical and non-technical audiences, whether in a whiteboard session or a stakeholder update</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Performs other related duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
