We are a growing ecosystem of fully integrated digital banking solutions, designed by and for credit unions. We’re looking for a Technical Lead - Infrastructure passionate about designing and leading secure, scalable, and efficient cloud architectures that support the development and operation of Blossom’s digital banking ecosystem.
About the Job
You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Blossom’s cloud infrastructure strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence across our environments. This position requires strong expertise in AWS, DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and advanced networking, along with the ability to guide teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
As a Technical Lead, you will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams, driving DevSecOps initiatives, optimizing performance and cost, and ensuring compliance within the financial sector. This role combines hands-on technical leadership, mentorship, and strategic vision to elevate Blossom’s infrastructure and cloud operations.
Requirements
Education: Professional in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields. Specialization or certification in Cloud Architecture, DevOps, or Security is a plus.
English: Advanced level.
Experience:
5+ years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud infrastructure, Docker/Kubernetes, Terraform (IaC), and CI/CD automation tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
3+ years of experience leading infrastructure and DevOps teams, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Extensive experience with hybrid cloud connectivity, including AWS Direct Connect, Transit Gateway architectures, and secure VPN implementations.
Certifications:
AWS certifications are required, with strong preference for the AWS Professional Certification (Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent).
Technical Skills:
Strong expertise in dynamic routing protocols, especially BGP (ASN management, path optimization).
Deep understanding of secure communication protocols, including mTLS implementation and certificate lifecycle management.
Experience managing IPsec VPN tunnels and secure hybrid networking environments.
Proven ability in automation, monitoring, incident response, performance optimization, and cost management.
Strong documentation skills, including technical diagrams and infrastructure planning.
