Description

Vi's US product team is small, fast, and building from scratch. This role is the delivery backbone, you'll keep a team of Applied AI Engineers shipping on time across healthcare accounts with hard pharma launch dates and regulatory constraints, while initially coordinating delivery across the broader portfolio. You report to Vi's Head of Product. As the team grows, you own the healthcare pod and build your own delivery team. This isn't a TPM seat where you inherit a process, You're designing how Vi delivers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep Applied AI Engineers shipping on schedule: own sprint cadences, remove blockers, flag risks before they become problems

  • Be the primary interface between Vi's engineers and client-side technical counterparts (EHR admins, pharmacy system owners, CRM teams, IT/security)

  • Drive delivery planning around real constraints: HIPAA compliance, IRB timelines, FDA reporting requirements, and payer data agreements

  • Manage cross-functional dependencies between Vi's platform team, data team, and engineers deploying at the client

  • Stand up delivery infrastructure from scratch: escalation paths, deployment checklists, go-live runbooks tailored to regulated environments

  • Own all client-facing delivery communication, status, risk, tradeoffs, so engineers stay focused on building

  • Initially coordinate delivery across both healthcare and wellness verticals; healthcare becomes your dedicated focus as the team scales

Growth Path

  • This role evolves with the team. Near-term, you're the only delivery lead across a flat squad. As Vi scales, you own the healthcare pod, hire your own delivery team, and shape how the function operates. The trajectory: delivery lead → pod lead → delivery manager.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves

  • 5+ years in technical delivery or technical program management in healthcare or life sciences: pharma, health systems, or payer environments

  • Direct experience shipping software under regulatory constraints (HIPAA, FDA, IRB, clinical trial timelines)

  • Fluency in how healthcare data moves: EHR/EMR integrations, pharmacy benefit systems, CRM platforms (Salesforce Health Cloud, HubSpot), claims/eligibility feeds

  • Comfort operating in an early-stage environment: small team, high ambiguity, no inherited process

  • Strong enough technically to follow architecture discussions, read API specs, and keep engineers honest on timelines and implementation decisions

  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent client engagements with competing deadlines, including direct coordination with client-side technical teams (IT, EHR admins, vendor integrations)

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with AI/ML deployment in production healthcare settings (voice agents, NLP pipelines, predictive models)

  • Background in pharma commercial launch operations or patient services/hub programs

  • Familiarity with data pipeline tooling (Airflow, dbt, cloud data platforms)

  • Prior experience building a delivery or TPM function from zero
