Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the role

Reporting to John Beauchamp, Chief Revenue Officer - Americas Enterprise, the Technical Advisor will play a key role in driving AMER Sales’ most critical initiatives with efficiency and speed. You will contribute to projects and programs that shape the future of AMER Sales at Stripe. With the ability to influence from a strategic and administrative perspective, you will be instrumental in executing key cross-org initiatives and helping us move from strategy to execution while ensuring operational excellence.

If you are energized by new user acquisition, go to market strategy, driving revenue generation, building relationships with executive stakeholders, and engaging with cross functional teams to drive and iterate Stripe’s strategy, then we want to hear from you!

What you’ll do

Responsibilities

  • Assist with kicking off, fixing, and or taking on time sensitive projects and programs

  • Attend planning and review meetings with, or in lieu of, John Beauchamp

  • Review and orchestrate processes and communications across multiple sales teams

  • Interface and consult regularly with internal cross-functional teams

  • Coordinate background for meetings with key partners (e.g., identify goals and talking points, provide background on attendees, analyze the current business relationship, etc.) and ensure prep is ready

  • Drive insights and efficiencies in how we execute to achieve our goals

  • Stay up to date on changes and trends related to the business across GTM and Product

  • Develop a network of internal and external resources to expedite deal management

Who you are

Requirements

  • Great collaboration and people skills. You will need to build relationships with leaders, stakeholders and cross functional partners across the broader organization to drive impact at scale. It will be important that you are able to delegate and influence rather than try to take everything on yourself.

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills

  • High org EQ to get to decision makers quickly and engage effectively

  • Confidence to navigate complex problems without clear guidance

  • Ability to make sound judgment calls in unstructured situations

  • Ability to quickly assimilate a broad (constantly evolving) and sufficiently deep understanding of our technical products and systems

  • Ability to quickly understand our products and stay current on the evolution of our business strategy

  • Experience navigating business structures while maintaining confidentiality and discretion

  • Ability to capture complex concepts quickly and communicate them succinctly to key stakeholders

  • Ability to handle shifting priorities while maintaining organization and control

  • Experience leading cross-functional projects

  • Familiar with the GTM roadmap for large business areas

  • Internalize the best ideas from large organizations while also setting a vision that others are excited to get behind

  • Experience in a sales or GTM role is preferred
