In the capacity of a Tech Lead, you'll spearhead the evolution of our web applications utilizing React.js. Your primary mandate involves crafting and refining frontend elements to deliver unparalleled user experiences, working in tandem with multifaceted teams including designers, backend engineers, and product managers. Your mastery of React.js and frontend development is pivotal in ensuring our applications remain scalable, performant, and user-centric.

As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing our web applications using React.js. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend engineers, and product managers, to create seamless user experiences that align with our company's goals and customer needs. Your expertise in React.js and frontend development will be crucial in ensuring the scalability, performance, and user-friendliness of our web applications.
Responsibilities:
• Architect and implement high-caliber frontend components and functionalities leveraging React.js.
• Collaborate closely with design counterparts to translate concepts into visually captivating and intuitive interfaces.
• Forge seamless integrations between frontend components and backend logic in collaboration with backend engineers.
• Optimize web applications for speed, responsiveness, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Proactively identify and tackle performance bottlenecks and usability challenges.
• Uphold frontend development best practices, coding standards, and comprehensive documentation.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold quality standards and offer constructive feedback.
• Keep abreast of emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
• Mentor and empower junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge exchange and professional advancement.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in frontend development with a strong emphasis on React.js.
• Proficient understanding of web markup languages (HTML, CSS) and client-side scripting.
• Experience with CSS in JS (styled-components)
• Solid understanding of JavaScript and its core principles.
• Experience with Frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel).
• Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks (Jest) and test-driven development.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in the e-commerce industry, preferably with a focus on consumer-facing platforms.
• Familiarity with video streaming technologies and related frameworks.
• Understanding of server-side technologies and frameworks (Node.js, Express.js).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs.
