Team Lead UI/UX Designer

About the job

We are seeking a Team Lead UI/UX Designer to design and enhance business-critical web and mobile products.

This is a unique opportunity to lead and work alongside an experienced team that excels at building high-quality products for clients at scale. This position reports to the COO and will work closely with a skilled Bellwood Labs product development team.

Qualifications

Essential skills: A passion for leading a team of designers while maintaining large contributions as an Individual Contributor. Strong experience working with business and technical teams to design business applications utilizing Figma. Experience with financial applications and AG Grid views are a plus.

The role also requires a voracious appetite to learn and apply new skills. You should be skilled at designing responsive web experiences and mobile apps, and excel with different sets of tools and in different client environments.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Design, iterate, scale, and enhance Software Products, Apps, and Platforms based on Client Needs and Business Requirements

• Communicate complex Technical and Financial topics clearly, in language that can be easily understood by business users

• Define, refine, and document Best Practices that enable excellent team performance

• Meet with, mentor, manage, and provide feedback to other Bellwood designers

• Consult with business and technical stakeholders to create and communicate a shared design vision across a portfolio of products

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has 5+ years of professional application design experience

• Is passionate about interaction design, visual design, and design thinking

• Thrives in ambiguity, working across multiple organizational stakeholders
