Position Title: CDS Team Lead Coordinator  

Location: 100% Remote (U.S. – candidates must reside in the contiguous United States) 

About The Role 

In addition to Cardiac Device Specialist responsibilities, a Team Lead Coordinator is an extension of clinical leadership to mentor and guide clinical decision making for the team. This role helps cultivate a positive, collaborative, and growth-minded team environment. The Team Lead Coordinator assists with identifying needs for education and clinical competency while working with leadership to continue to build the overall Clinical services line, processes, offerings, and resources, as directed by leadership. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Maintains advanced knowledge of departmental processes, procedures, and PaceMate products and services (ex. Billing, understanding of vendor and PML alerts and flags).  

  • Provides mentorship to new and established team members, including assisting with decision-making regarding transmission processing, providing documentation feedback, and facilitating workflow assessments. 

  • Serves as a cultural champion, fostering a positive, collaborative, and growth-oriented environment across the clinical team.  

  • Assists with alert triage and zoom calls. 

  • Assists with empowering the team through educational resources. 

  • Provides redirection of team members to maintain dashboard coverage based on greatest need when supervisors are not available. 

  • Responsible for attending and participating in team lead meetings. 

  • Presents at least 2 case studies, coffee chats, or clinical call presentations per year.  

  • Involvement in special projects or other duties as assigned.

A qualified candidate must hold an undergraduate or associate degree, in Business Administration, healthcare, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required. IBHRE certification (CDRMS, CCDS, or CEPS) required within one year of promotion. 

Demonstrates exceptional relational communication skills. Excellent critical thinking skills required. Ability to manage multiple priorities, while maintaining attention to detail required. A demonstrated track record of following through on commitments and deadlines required. Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills required. Effective 7/1/2023, all new candidates must hold a current Cardiac Device Specialist II or Senior Cardiac Device Specialist role at PaceMate to apply from within. The ideal candidate demonstrates servant leadership, a patient focus, and a team-oriented skillset.  Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is consistently required to remain in a stationary position, constantly operate a computer or other office equipment, and frequently communicate with customers and employees. 

  • You must reside within the contiguous United States. 

  • You must only work from within the contiguous United States. 

  • If working from, residing at a location other than your legal address that PaceMate has on file, employee must inform IT and get approval to do so.

Compensation: On top of a Robust Benefit Package, we are targeting a compensation range of $34.61 - $44.23, depending on education, experience, and certifications. This evening shift will also be eligible for an additional $4.00 per hour for certain hours worked, our generous shift differential.
