Tax Manager
Prepare and review assigned domestic and international tax reporting packages. Prepare income tax provisions including ASC 740-10 (formerly FIN 48) analysis. Coordinate and review the tax accounting support prepared by foreign subsidiaries. Responsible for Legal Entity Forecasting. Assist with computing intercompany transfer prices. Oversee indirect taxation, including planning, reporting and compliance. Manage and collaborate with outside tax consultants and advisors. Ensure accurate records, returns and related reports align with all federal, state and local regulations. Prepare reconciliations of tax-related general ledger accounts. Assist with internal audits relating to tax matters, external tax audits, and preparing guidelines and/or policies related to tax compliance. Perform research of tax law changes, formulate solutions, and implement changes. Collaborate with management regarding changes/potential changes in tax law within assigned area. Develop and implement process and/or technology improvements. Drive various special projects as assigned. 6+ years of progressive work experience in a multinational company's corporate tax department and/or a public accounting firm, with accounting for income taxes experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (CPA, MBA or MST preferred). Experience in all aspects of tax (e.g., compliance, controversy, tax accounting, process improvement, tax technology). Solid understanding of taxation relating to U.S. based multinational companies. Advanced excel knowledge. Experience with ERP systems, Vertex, Alteryx, and/or Power BI is preferred. Strong analytical and communication skills. Accountable and self-motivated with an ability to work independently and as part of a fast paced, de-centralized team. Experience working with large data and championing and implementing process improvements. Skilled in developing and analyzing tax planning and tax minimization strategies.
