As a Talent Development Specialist, you will support the high level coordination, execution and continuous improvement of talent management and development programs that enable organizational success. Working collaboratively with the People team and business stakeholders, you will manage the day-to-day operations and continuous improvement of core talent processes including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and learning and development initiatives. You will contribute to the entire talent management portfolio, with a focus on specific programs that will change over time. You’ll focus on ensuring seamless program execution, supporting data-driven insights, and exceptional stakeholder experiences across all talent management and development programs.

What you'll do:

  • Program Operations & Execution

    • High level coordination of talent management programs, including aligning project calendars, establishing thoughtful program rhythms and sequencing communication

    • Execute day-to-day operations and program management for talent management programs, including performance management, talent reviews, leveling and competency frameworks and succession planning

    • Coordinate stakeholder engagement and measurement activities for talent management programs

    • Develop and update internal resources and communications to support program execution

  • Technology & Data Management

    • Maintain quality assurance processes to ensure consistency across all programs

    • Partner with the Talent Management program owner to collect, analyze, and report on program effectiveness and vendor performance using Zendesk, Docebo, Workday, and other tools

    • Partner with the Talent Management program owner and People Insights and Analytics to identify trends and inform program strategy, supporting data collection and reporting

    • Collaborate withTalent Management program owner and technology specialists to optimize Workday configurations and ensure programs are properly enabled

  • Process Optimization & Documentation

    • Write and update procedures and policy documentation to improve project workflows

    • Implement solutions that enhance program efficiency and employee engagement

    • Stay current on Talent Management industry best practices and emerging trends

  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management

    • Support vendor onboarding, engagement operations, and performance monitoring

    • Monitor vendor contracts and budgets to ensure quality service delivery

    • Build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization to ensure program alignment

  • Operational Support

    • Respond to user support requests via Zendesk, troubleshooting issues and providing timely support

    • Escalate issues appropriately, applying sound judgment on impact to stakeholders

What we're looking for:

  • Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience

    • 2-4 years in Talent Management, Talent Development, or HR operations, supporting or managing projects/programs, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

    • Experience supporting the execution of Talent Management programs from start to finish

    • Experience working with HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and support platforms (Zendesk, Docebo)

  • Essential Skills

    • Program Management: Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail

    • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

    • Analytics: Ability to analyze data and report on program effectiveness 

    • Problem-Solving: Creative, practical approach to resolving challenges in ambiguous situations

    • Relationship Building: Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels

  • Key Attributes

    • Systematic, detail-oriented approach to program management

    • Highly productive and proactive

    • Adaptable and resourceful under pressure

    • Can-do attitude with accountability for deliverables

    • Sound judgment in escalating issues and making timely decisions
