Reporting to: VP, People
Location: Remote (US or Canada) – EST time zone
Please note that while the majority of the work is conducted remotely for non-local team members, all team members are expected to be available to attend key on-site events/activities at our NYC hub 4 times per year. This includes things like onboarding, training , and team building - 'together days'. The onsite weeks are scheduled in advance and travel expenses for those in-person times are covered by the business.
Hours/Status: Full-Time, exempt
The core working hours for this role are 8:00AM - 4:30PM EST Monday-Friday, however, as part of a global team, you'll be working closely with colleagues and candidates in the UK, which may require a slightly earlier start time on limited occasion. We support flexible working patterns to accommodate this. **Please note: if you are a morning person and actually prefer starting earlier (e.g. core hours 7:30-4 EST), that works too!
Salary: $72,000 - $80,000 USD

Role Overview We're looking for a passionate Talent Acquisition (TA) Partner to join our team! The TA Partner is a key member of the People team, responsible for partnering with hiring managers across the business (North America + the UK) to identify, attract and acquire top talent that supports Spektrix success whilst ensuring a positive candidate experience and seamless transition from candidate to team member for new hires. This isn't just a transactional recruitment role. You’ll operate as a true business partner to hiring managers across the business: from recruitment strategy to interviews, to offers, all the way through to start date - this is truly full cycle. You'll also get to work on some exciting projects around events, employer brand and socials where you can get creative in how we attract direct candidates and build a pipeline. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will:
Proactively partner with hiring managers to understand talent acquisition needs (current and emerging), offering guidance on recruitment strategies and process planning
Utilize effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates, e.g. crafting clear and compelling job adverts, utilizing industry relevant job boards, conducting including direct sourcing + outreach (e.g. LinkedIn), attending hiring events, etc.
Review applications, conduct phone screens, schedule hiring team interviews, gather feedback, facilitate next steps and follow-ups
Utilize Applicant Tracking System effectively to move through recruitment stages, maintain up-to-date data for accurate tracking and reporting reporting and tracking
Manage pre-boarding process: drafting formal offer letters and employment contracts, background checks, welcome emails, system inputs, scheduling first day orientation
Train and advise hiring managers on all processes related to recruitment
Monitor and report on key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, etc.) and ad-hoc reports as needed.
Partner with recruitment agencies where needed
Work on projects related to our employer brand including hosting events, attending conferences, and other exciting initiatives
Key Requirements You should have:
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills - both verbal and written
Full cycle recruiting experience with demonstrated understanding of the end to end talent acquisition process
Experience managing Applicant Tracking System(s) and utilizing sites and tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed, etc. for sourcing and job posting. We use Pinpoint but would love to hear what your favorite tools are!
Experience conducting candidate interviews with the ability to simultaneously assess skills/talent for role match while also positively representing the company
Knowledge of hiring practices and regulations within at least one of our countries of operation (US, UK, CAN), and willingness to learn across the others and additional regions as we continue to grow.
A keen ability to develop trusting relationships across all levels of the business and 'influence without authority'
Strong technical aptitude with high degree of proficiency in tools such as Google Sheets, Docs, Excel, etc. and other web based applications
Ability and comfort maintaining sensitive / highly confidential information

Working At The Office
For team members who are 'local' to NYC, a stipend is offered for each day you work on-site. Think of it as our way of easing potential commute related costs (but no need to prove it - this is a perk we offer for days worked onsite, regardless of how you choose to get there).
For remote-based team members (‘non local’), Spektrix covers all work related travel expenses directly. Flights, hotels for overnight stays, etc. are paid for through our work travel tool, TravelPerk, and/or reimbursed through an expense report where applicable.
