Compassion International is looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner II to join the Talent Acquisition Programs team! In this role, you'll lead Compassion's Spring and Summer Internship Programs, Fellowship Program, and support temporary hiring needs across the ministry. More than recruiting, this position is an opportunity to shape the future of Compassion's workforce by building and stewarding early-career talent pipelines, creating meaningful developmental experiences, and helping emerging talent discover their calling and purpose.

As a strategic talent advisor, you'll partner closely with hiring managers and People & Culture Partners to develop innovative recruiting strategies that align with ministry goals, workforce needs, and budget considerations. You'll educate and equip leaders to think proactively about talent, helping them build sustainable talent pipelines and make informed hiring decisions. From workforce planning and talent attraction to candidate assessment and offer acceptance, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional candidate experience while ensuring Compassion attracts and develops top talent for the future.


Please note: Compassion’s Summer Internship Program takes place in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Candidates who are local to the Colorado Springs or Denver areas, or who can relocate there by Spring 2027, will be given preference.

What Will You Do?

  • Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintaining a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully uphold Compassion's ministry in prayer.
  • Act as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understand Christ's mandate to protect children. Commit to and prioritize child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abide by all behavioral expectations in Compassion's Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Report any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion's internal reporting process and appropriately support responses to incidents if they occur.
  • Uphold and engage in Compassion's core Cultural Behaviors.
  • Actively builds, maintains, and delivers a supply of diverse, quality candidates gathered through networking, community relationship building, and direct sourcing for various ministry positions as determined by the business goals.
  • Guides the candidate's experience through Compassion’s recruitment process, representing Compassion’s brand and culture to candidates throughout the process of recruitment. Accomplished, in part, by timely communication, sensitivity to candidates’ job search, and strict compliance with policy and legal requirements.
  • Coordinates and executes development sessions, host home arrangements, mentorships, and connection opportunities for Compassion’s Spring and Summer Internships, as well as the Fellowship Program.
  • Builds and maintains a cross-regional network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management; conducts in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences and needs.
  • Proactively collaborates with management, HR Business Partner team, and Talent Acquisition Team to understand short-term and long-term forecasts, in order to design a sourcing and recruitment strategy for assigned professional and support positions.
  • Cooperates with business partners and compensation staff to compile market and internal equity compensation data to formulate compensation recommendation to hiring managers and derive the final offer.
  • Utilizes his or her expertise by training and coaching interview teams on Compassion’s recruitment and selection process.

What do you bring? 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Three years relevant experience working in recruiting, recruitment marketing, program management, or other related field.
