We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our product-driven company where the quality of solutions and the speed of development have a direct impact on business and success. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the security, efficiency, and reliability of our IT systems. You will work closely with various departments and managers to meet their IT needs.
In this role, you will:
Hardware Procurement: selecting and purchasing computer and networking equipment for our employees in all regions. Additionally, I handle equipment returns and redistributions and address issues related to diagnostics and repairs.
Email Support: maintaining email spam compliance and setting up email boxes for customer-facing teams.
Security Compliance: creating and enforcing security rules, especially those that can be implemented cost-effectively and internally.
User Monitoring and Access Control: We monitor our employees' usage of IT tools. Access should be issued and revoked in a timely manner, and consideration should be given to different levels of access to tools.
Administration of Company-wide Tools: We administer tools such as Google Workspace, Atlassian Jira, and Confluence. This includes setting up, updating, and supporting our employees' use of these tools.
Network Security and Data Encryption: configuring and supporting VPN connections, encryption software, and disk-cleaning programs.
Mandatory Software Compliance: Ensure mandatory software on employee computers, such as antivirus programs, is used.
We’re looking for a person who has:
Proven experience as a System Administrator, preferably in an IT company.
Experience with administrating remote employees.
Understanding of information security principles and the ability to apply them in practice.
Experience with mass tools such as Google Workspace and Atlassian Jira&Confluence.
Knowledge of VPN connections, encryption software, and disk-cleaning programs.
English — Intermediate level.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
