  • Build excitement for our brands through company swag.

  • Work closely across all supply chain needs, including customs management to ensure global delivery of all orders.

Role responsibilities

  • Working closely with Brand and Design, implement the Automattic culture creatively through inclusive swag, connecting employees, customers, and partners to our brands through merch.

  • Explore opportunities for digital swag that is impactful and creates demand.

  • Organize, manage, and execute the supply chain needs across employee gifting, partner and customer gifting, events, and the employee company store. This includes inventory management and forecasting.

  • Develop a fulfillment strategy across the globe that reduces storage, shipping, and customs costs; oversee management of all 3PL facilities, print on demand partners, etc.

  • Manage customs needs as they relate to the import and export of all merchandise to individuals and events.

  • Establish supplier relationships and find the best partners/vendors to support our needs within budget.

  • Focus on customer (employees, clients, partners, event attendees) satisfaction with an attention to how inventory performs across all needs, and listening to suggestions, questions, and feedback about swag.

  • Management of internal swag store site, and any connected platforms used for external gifting, including:

    • Manage internal swag store’s WooCommerce environment by working closely with developers, and support (Happiness Engineers) to ensure the site is up to date, and running properly.

    • Suggest improvements and upgrades to the WooCommerce storefront as needed.

    • Ensure that product inventory is synced regularly and accurately reflects stock values.

    • Work with developers to improve the look and feel of the store.

    • Provide updated product photography, product descriptions, and size charts.

 Role expectations:

  • Passion for swag – You have a passion for producing swag with fun designs; staying up to date on the latest trends in the swag industry and excitement to experiment with new ideas.

  • Communication – Ability to represent Automattic with professionalism, integrity, and a strong customer service attitude. Able to work in an environment that requires discretion in dealing with confidential matters.

  • Multi-Tasking & Attention to Detail – Be detail-oriented, with the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities within a fast paced environment. Willingness to tackle anything from small administrative tasks to high profile requests.

  • Decision Making – Show complexity of thought when considering resource tradeoffs in the pursuit of business impact.

  • Project Management – Implement efficient and impactful systems for accountability and drive initiatives forward to completion.

  • Ambiguity - High threshold for working in an ambiguous, fast paced, startup-like environment, figuring it out and adapting as you go.

Salary range: $90,000-150,000 USD - Please note that salary ranges are global, regardless of location, and we pay in local currency.
