About the Role
As a Staff Product Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our platform. You will work across multiple teams, collaboration with Product Management, UX Research, and Engineering to ensure that our design is scalable and that our products deliver a world-class user experience. You will lead design initiatives that span across the organization, contribute to our design system, and mentor designers at all levels.
What you’ll be doing:
Serve as a design leader, setting strategic direction across multiple teams. Partner with PM and ENG to align on product vision and strategy.
Drive design excellence by creating intuitive, elegant solutions that address user needs and business goals. Advocate for best practices and push continuous improvement in design quality.
Mentor designers of all levels, helping them grow their skills and navigate their careers. Lead design workshops, critiques, and other learning opportunities.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that design is integrated seamlessly into the product development process. Facilitate collaborative design sessions to align on goals and deliverables.
Contribute to the evolution of our design system, ensuring it meets the needs of our growing product portfolio.
Conduct or collaborate on user research to gain insights into user needs and behaviors.
Identify and solve complex design challenges across multiple products and platforms. Proactively address potential issues before they become problems.
Who you are:
You have 10+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of delivering impactful design solutions in fast paced environments.
You’re proficient across the entire design process, from discovery to delivery, and excel at both strategic and tactical design work.
You have deep expertise in design systems and have contributed to the development and governance of design systems at scale (not sure how much here)
You have a strong empathy for users and are skilled at translating complex user needs into intuitive design solutions.
You can zoom out to see the big picture while also being able to dive deep into the details when needed.
You’re passionate about mentoring and growing design talent, with experience leading and guiding designers.
You thrive in cross functional environments, working closely with PM, ENG and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive and impactful design solutions.
You have strong communication skills and can articulate design decisions clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

JumpCloud is committed to being Remote First, meaning that you are able to work remotely within the country noted in the Job Description.
This role is remote in the country of India. You must be located in and authorized to work in India to be considered for this role.
Language:
JumpCloud® has teams in 15+ countries around the world and conducts our internal business in English. The interview and any additional screening process will take place primarily in English.
