The role We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer who can autonomously drive ongoing business impact within a team, product capability, or technical system. As a key member of our Engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering high-impact solutions. Your role will involve introducing new features, implementing innovative functionalities, and optimizing performance to contribute significantly to our projects. Tech stack: PHP, MySQL, MongoDB, Node.js Where you’ll work
You have to be located in Poland to be considered for this position. You’ll have the flexibility to choose between remote work or working from our office in Warsaw.
What you’ll be doing
Owning and proactively delivering goals for your team.
Designing, planning, and implementing technical solutions for complex business problems and high-impact projects.
Guiding and coaching teams on best practices in coding and architecture areas.
Improving operational processes in the product lifecycle to improve the efficiency of teams (e.g. CI/CD, Agile).
What you’ll need
8+ years of experience in software engineering.
Proficiency in PHP and MySQL.
Experience with at least one completed project using MongoDB.
Previous experience with financial record-keeping systems and/or accounting systems or FinTech or Blockchain
Ability to define technical roadmaps for multi-phase projects with significant impact.
Skill in creating cohesive designs involving multiple components interacting across API or system boundaries.
Experience in reliably rolling out major components or features, including deprecating existing systems or features.
Fluency in both Polish and English.
