Staff Product Manager, Reddit Profiles

Team Description: 

The Reddit Pro team is a hub that connects consumers and power users on Reddit. Our mission is to create a product that helps brands, organizations, and power contributors on Reddit thrive by discovering hotspots on Reddit and creating engaging conversations.

Role Description:

Reddit is the only place where users find authentic conversations about a topic, product, service etc. Reddit pro helps power users on Reddit discovery community and conversation hotspots across Reddit and create “Rich conversations” with Redditors. This Staff PM will lead Reddit Pro’s vision, strategy, goals and execution. This role has a heavy emphasis on cross functional collaboration across many parts of the company, starting from Consumer products, Ads, Product Marketing, Sales etc.  In this role you will set goals, product strategy and drive towards execution to achieve those goals while getting leadership (VPs and above) alignment.  

This role is truly impactful for Reddit, and will leverage your skills with 0-1 products, growth experience and solid consumer facing products expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Create product vision, goals and strategy for Reddit Pro and execute to achieve the goals

• Work with various cross functional teams (Ads, Community, Product Marketing, etc) to drive adoption and usage of the features to show strong path to winning

• Work with our data science and user research teams to craft insights into the behaviors and needs of users on Reddit, and translate those insights into hypotheses, tests and features that ultimately lead to a constantly evolving & improved product experience

• Seek to understand the competitive environment and maintain global awareness of unique user experiences specifically in regards to different Media experiences & Content creation

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of Product Management experience and experience leading consumer products 

• Proven experience building product vision, goal setting, strategy and execution

• Experience shipping B2C products that have had meaningful impact (metric and user experience)

• Demonstrated experience leading teams, defining team goals and success metrics

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including a willingness to roll up your sleeves and dive into the minutia. 

• Adept in writing detailed product execution and strategy documents with extreme clarity

• Compelling influencer with great communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to align a diverse group of stakeholders towards a common goal
