Staff Product Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for an innovative and experienced Staff Product Manager to lead the foundational architecture of the Bugcrowd platform. In this role, you will establish and evangelize a shared product vision for our core infrastructure. You will be the primary driver for our API ecosystem, global deployment strategy (including sharding and cell architecture), and regional expansions such as the EU. This role is critical in accelerating the development of 'Enterprise Ready' feature sets, ensuring our platform meets the highest standards for FedRAMP compliance, advanced authentication, and sophisticated governance tools like RBAC and Audit logs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Regional Strategy: Own the roadmap for platform scalability, leading the transition to cell-based architectures to support new global regions and data residency requirements.
Enterprise Readiness: Drive the strategy and execution of enterprise-grade features, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Audit logs, and advanced authentication/identity integrations.
API & Integration Lifecycle: Own the development and planning process for Bugcrowd’s APIs, integrating feedback from internal stakeholders and customers to ensure a seamless developer experience.
Compliance & Trust: Partner with Engineering and Security leaders to design products that meet FedRAMP requirements and other critical security certifications.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Communicate a compelling vision to inspire teams and gain cross-team buy-in on the roadmap for our core technical stack.
Metric-Driven Growth: Use deep analytical thinking to define and track success metrics for platform performance, API adoption, and infrastructure efficiency.
Obstacle Removal: Proactively anticipate and remove technical or organizational obstacles that slow down the delivery of critical infrastructure initiatives.
Strategic Market Alignment: Maintain a competitive overview of the infrastructure landscape to identify strategic threats and opportunities for the Bugcrowd platform.
Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
7+ years of Product Management experience
You’re capable of balancing long-term, strategic roadmapping and thought leadership with pragmatic, transparent and, tactically-focused.
You’ve led teams and are well-versed in mentoring and growing a team.
You’ve been a contributor at the executive team level with the ability to build trust at every level and rally towards common goals.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
Enterprise SaaS Experience: Proven track record of building and scaling 'Enterprise Ready' feature sets (e.g., SSO, SCIM, RBAC, and complex logging systems) for a global SaaS business.
Infrastructure Expertise: Deep familiarity with modern deployment patterns, specifically sharding, cell-based architecture, or managing multi-region cloud environments.
Compliance Knowledge: Direct experience navigating the product requirements for FedRAMP, SOC2, or high-compliance government/financial environments.
API-First Mindset: Experience managing public APIs as a product, focusing on documentation, versioning, and developer ecosystem growth.
A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is preferred, with the ability to build deep trust with Engineering and Security teams.

The provided salary details are based on US national averages and we retain the flexibility to tailor to the needs of the business.
The national estimate for the current base range for the position is: $145,440 - $181,800.
This position may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus program or commission plan, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
