Staff DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically accomplished Staff DevOps Engineer to drive the strategy, architecture, and execution of our cloud infrastructure and developer productivity platforms. This role acts as a force multiplier across engineering teams, improving reliability, security, and delivery velocity for our cloud-native, API-first Security Knowledge Platform™.
You will define standards, design scalable systems, and lead complex DevOps and Platform Engineering initiatives that enable teams to build, test, and deploy software faster and more securely.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Define and drive the long-term DevOps and platform engineering strategy aligned with engineering and business goals.
Architect, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
Lead adoption of modern practices such as GitOps, Infrastructure-as-Code, and automated release management.
Design and manage Kubernetes-based platforms supporting high-availability and large-scale workloads.
Serve as the technical authority for complex infrastructure, tooling integrations, and platform migrations.
Establish best practices for reliability, security, observability, and cost optimization.
Collaborate closely with engineering, security, and product teams to remove developer friction.
Mentor senior engineers and influence engineering teams through technical leadership and strong documentation.
Drive continuous improvement across the software delivery lifecycle.
People Manager Responsibility

Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
10+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Advanced experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi).
Proven experience designing and operating large-scale CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, Argo CD).
Strong programming and scripting skills (Python, Go, Bash, etc.).
Strong focus on scalability, security, reliability, and developer productivity.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
