Sr. UI-UX Designer (Tektronix)
Design wireframes, workflows, and interaction models for both new and existing software products. Design and develop forward-looking concepts for potential future products or future product versions. Collaborate regularly with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs and vet any necessary changes. Assist in the development and mentoring of other team members. Maintain and evolve a shared design system used across multiple products to ensure consistency and scalability. Provide UX consultation to development teams, identifying usability issues and recommending workflow improvements. Assist in the creation of Workflow and Interface Proposal documents to ensure goal alignment across multiple groups and stakeholders. Demonstrate a passion and willingness to advocate for accessibility in product design. Proven experience as a UX Designer, ideally within a collaborative team environment. Leadership experience within a team (creative lead, project lead, mentor, etc) Background in visual or graphic design, ideally within a digital environment Familiarity with software development concepts or experience working closely with software development teams. Experience building and working with design systems or component libraries. A reliable, self-starter who looks for opportunities to improve both the product and themselves. A passion for user-centered design and continuous improvement. Proficiency with design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, SharePoint, Microsoft Office 365, Miro, FigJam, etc. Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work remotely and with team members spread across multiple time zones
