Our vision is to create a safer, simpler digital future for everyone, and our culture values simplicity, honesty and a human-centric approach to solving problems. You’ll define processes and ways of working between marketing, content, product, design, analytics, and engineering to maximize cross-functional efficiency and execute timelines for global SEO and ASO work. We are looking for a naturally curious, motivated, and analytical leader who can efficiently coordinate opportunities, develop and execute KPIs, and report on SEO and ASO performance strategies regularly to stakeholders and executive teams.

This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.

What we're looking for:

  • 7-10 years of experience in SEO, content strategy required, SEM experience a plus

  • 4 years of experience defining marketing processes in multi-disciplinary environments

  • 2 years of experience in mobile, desktop, and browser extension app store optimization

  • 2 years of agency management experience

  • 2 years of managing people

  • Advanced knowledge of channel marketing strategies and processes to help us fortify the foundation for SEO and ASO programs

  • Up to date on the latest trends in ASO and SEO best practices, Google quality guidelines, and ranking factors

  • Expert with tools like Looker, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, AppTweak, etc.

  • Deep understanding of marketing data management to support SEO and ASO channel reporting

  • Experience with both self-service B2C, B2B, and sales assisted motions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience presenting to executive audiences

  • Skilled at partnering and gaining support from content, engineering, design, product, and marketing teams

  • Knowledge of A/B testing and best practices

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and deliver high-quality work with attention to detail

  • Positive attitude, grit, flexibility, curiosity, and problem-solving growth mentality

What you can expect:

  • Partner with marketing stakeholders, analytics, finance, and leadership to develop global SEO and ASO strategies through data-driven planning, opportunity assessment, and reporting to identify critical KPIs, set goals, and forecast performance for ongoing optimization

  • Manage an extended team of external agency and vendor partners, as well as an internal SEO Analyst to systematize processes that ultimately increase organic channel efficiency and impact across the marketing funnel

  • Develop short-term and long-term SEO strategies, including keyword list management, site architecture, and content optimization recommendations

  • Partner with the content, web, and campaigns teams to evolve how we integrate SEO recommendations into marketing project planning - from discovery and research through activation and reporting

  • Manage all aspects of global ASO to optimize promotional placements, metadata, and media to improve app visibility and engagement across a variety of storefronts

  • Coordinate with product, design, and analytics to plan, run, and report on A/B tests to improve app store engagement and downloads

  • Keep up-to-date on the latest key industry trends and algorithm changes, as well as SEO and ASO best practices, strategies and technologies

  • Report on plan results, insights, and recommendations weekly, monthly, and quarterly

  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to inspire, develop, and lead a world-class team

  • 1Password is on a mission to make the internet a more secure place – you get to be a key part of reaching and educating a wider audience

  • Be a part of a team to plan and develop new, creative ideas to support  our customers understanding of the importance of security and privacy

  • Until the Sr. SEO Analyst is hired, we will need this role to be “in the weeds” with BAU processes until their team is fully onboarding (~2 months)
