Position Summary
ExtraHop is seeking a strategic, hands-on Sr. Recruiter to play a foundational role in rebuilding and scaling our Talent Acquisition function. This position will partner directly with HRBPs, executives, senior leadership, and hiring managers across all business units, including Engineering, Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, HR, and Operations, to attract and hire top talent in a high-growth cybersecurity environment
This is not a traditional recruiting role. You will be a trusted advisor who influences hiring strategy, builds robust talent pipelines, and establishes scalable recruiting processes from the ground up. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, operates with a bias for action, and brings both strategic thinking and tactical execution to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership & Business Alignment
Collaborate with the HRBP to understand business objectives and hiring needs.
Act as a strategic advisor on talent market trends, competitive intelligence, and hiring strategy, challenging assumptions and shaping search approaches with data and insight.
Translate business needs into tailored recruitment strategies that balance speed, quality, candidate, and hiring manager experience.
Provide proactive talent-market insights that inform hiring decisions and workforce planning.
Full-Cycle Recruitment
Lead end-to-end recruitment for roles across multiple functions and levels, with a focus on sales, technical, engineering, and corporate functions.
Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies leveraging multiple channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, industry networks, market mapping, and competitive intelligence.
Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for recurring, hard-to-fill, and future state roles.
Manage complex hiring situations, including compensation negotiations and international employment considerations.
Hire to level and budgeted compensation, owning offer negotiations and extensions, preparing and sending offer letters, and guiding candidates through close
Process & Infrastructure
Establish scalable recruiting processes, workflows, and best practices as a foundational member of the TA team.
Utilize Greenhouse ATS to manage requisitions, maintain data integrity, produce actionable reports, and drive process improvements.
Create and implement talent mapping frameworks, intake processes, and hiring manager and team enablement tools.
Contribute to the development of TA metrics, dashboards, and reporting that demonstrate business impact.
Candidate Experience & Employer Brand
Deliver a best-in-class, consistent candidate experience through clear communications, transparency, and professionalism at every touchpoint.
Serve as an ambassador for ExtraHop’s mission, culture, and employee value proposition.
Build long-term relationships with candidates, maintaining engagement for future opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
8+ years of progressive recruitment experience supporting multiple business functions, including sales and technical/engineering roles
Proven track record recruiting across various levels (individual contributor through senior leadership) in high-growth, fast-paced technology environments
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with an ATS; strong preference for GreenHouse
Demonstrated ability to partner with leaders, people managers, and HR Business Partners/Operations as a trusted advisor and contributor
Expert sourcing skills
Experience building and optimizing recruiting processes, frameworks, or infrastructure in early-stage or rebuilding scenarios
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate talent decisions into financial and organizational impact
Highly organized and data-driven with proven ability to manage multiple complex searches simultaneously
Excellent stakeholder management, communications, and relationship-building capabilities across all organizational levels
Partners effectively with cross-functional stakeholders throughout the organization
Thrives in fast-paced, high-stress environments with competing priorities and tight deadlines
Demonstrates predictable, reliable attendance and engagement; follows through on commitments
Adjusts quickly to changing business needs, organizational shifts, and evolving talent landscapes
Takes responsibility for outcomes, addresses issues proactively, and ensures nothing falls through the cracks
Preferred Qualifications
Experience recruiting in cybersecurity, network security, SaaS, or enterprise software companies
Background in technical recruiting with understanding of engineering roles, tech stacks, and talent market dynamics
Familiarity with compensation benchmarking tools (e.g., Radford), market analysis,s and valuing talent
Knowledge of international hiring considerations, employment law basics, and visa processes
