As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Performance Ads & Merchant Tools, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our feed based advertising portfolio through strategic planning, market analysis, and effective go-to-market strategies. You will partner closely with product leadership to set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for catalogs including the merchant experience and optimization tools to ensure solutions are positioned effectively in the market.
What you'll do:
As a Product Marketing Manager, you are responsible for:
Shaping our product direction through market analysis, research and close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Design teams
Defining positioning, go-to-market messaging and launch plans for new advertising solutions that unlock meaningful value for our advertisers and contribute to key growth goals
Assessing the capabilities and value proposition of our advertising solutions through strategic, qualitative, and quantitative analysis
Developing market expertise to inform business requirements for new products
Serving as an advocate for our customers; demonstrating broad expertise and empathy for customer pain points
Driving cross-functional alignment throughout the go-to-market process, tracking success metrics accordingly
Using data and insights to drive alignment on strategic priorities and influence our overall monetization strategy
Educating and inspiring internal and external teams on Pinterest’s solutions for advertisers and partners alike
Building close XFN partnerships across Product, Engineering, Business Development, as well as Sales, Marketing, Communications, PR and Legal
What we’re looking for:
5+ years of experience supporting digital advertising for Retail customers at a fast growing ad tech company, agency, or digital platform
Experience in performance advertising with direct experience building strategy to grow adoption of feed-based advertising solutions
Sharp eye for detail and proven project management and operational skills
Keen ability to translate complexity into simple, clear communication and approach
A passion for Pinterest!
