Sr. Product Manager

QuinStreet is looking to hire a Product Manager for our Insurance category that will elevate the businesses to the next level. In this role, you will work on a diverse set of projects ranging from process improvement to client coverage issues to yield optimization to media quality that will directly contribute to business P&L.  

This role is heavily focused on bridging the gap between the tech, business, creative, and analytical teams. You’ll support product planning, project management, sizing business initiatives, managing the tech queue, and coordinating day-to-day sprint activities. This is a great opportunity for someone a few years into their product career who enjoys both organization and teamwork, and wants to grow into a bigger role. 

Responsibilities 

  • Manage multiple technical projects related to the delivery of our Insurance clients, including scoping, planning, execution, and monitoring. 

  • Work closely with development and business teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, and to the satisfaction of the stakeholders. 

  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and develop and implement appropriate mitigation plans. 

  • Ensure that project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date. 

  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide project status updates and manage expectations. 

  • Collaborate with the product & marketplace teams to ensure that technical projects align with the company's product roadmap and strategy. 

  • Work with the development team to identify technical solutions and ensure that they meet the needs of the business. 

  • Ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with company policies, standards, and procedures. 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in FinTech digital marketing space. Experience in Insurance industries a plus. 

  • 3+ years of experience in product coordination, project management, QA, or technical operations. 

  • Strong technical background with experience in web technologies, software development, and product management methodologies. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Strong understanding of performance-driven digital customer funnel 

  • Hands-on experience in an agile environment collaborating directly with engineers 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Experience with project/product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Asana. 

Nice to Have 

  • Exposure to software development or technology-driven projects. 

  • Experience running or supporting sprint ceremonies. 

  • Basic understanding of how product decisions translate into technical work. 

  • PMP or other project management certification is a plus. 

The expected salary range for this position is $110,000 USD to $175,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
