Sr. Product Manager - Performance Marketing
We are looking for a passionate and strategic Senior Product Manager, Growth - Performance Marketing to lead one of our most important acquisition channels on the Growth team. Each month, the Growth team helps over 600M people around the world find their inspiration on Pinterest. You’ll fully own the vision, strategy and execution for Pinterest’s paid growth channels, driving efficient and scalable user acquisition.
Reporting to the Group Product Manager (Growth Acquisition), you’ll lead high-impact initiatives from ideation through delivery. You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Data Science and Marketing to build and ship a roadmap of bold changes in service of creating a best-in-class user experience for current and future Pinners. You’ll tackle challenging, complex problems at scale and your work will help bring the inspiration and joy of Pinterest to more people around the world, more efficiently than ever before.
What you’ll do:
Lead the product vision, strategy, and execution for performance marketing, owning outcomes for scalable, efficient growth across paid channels.
Drive clarity, alignment, and prioritization across a broad cross‑functional team in an ambiguous, complex product area with substantial impact on top‑line growth. Influence senior stakeholders and contribute to long-term strategy for acquisition.
Partner closely with Marketing, Engineering, and Data Science to build and evolve the core systems, experimentation, measurement infrastructure, and optimization tools that improve how we plan, execute, and scale paid marketing.
Leverage strong analytical skills to dig into data, identify the highest‑impact opportunities in the paid marketing lifecycle, and help the organization make better, faster, and more confident investment decisions.
What we’re looking for:
Demonstrated success in product management at fast-growing companies.
Strong technical background (or prior work experience as a software engineer/data scientist) that lets you dive deep into data and complex technical problems alongside your engineering team.
Working knowledge of performance marketing mechanics (e.g., attribution, incrementality testing, bidding and budgeting, targeting, and funnel measurement).
Strong analytical skills to define product strategy and drive decision making.
Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences in written and verbal communication.
Prior experience with machine learning, recommendation systems, or generative AI a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
