**Candidate Note: This position is 100% remote for candidates based in the UK or EU**

As a Sr. Product Manager for EDB’s Postgres AI Platform, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of database observability, estate management, and topology control within the platform's control plane. This individual will work closely with engineering, external partners, and the community to enhance the experience for DBAs, developers, and management teams.

By driving new product launches and taking existing tools to the next level, this Sr. Product Manager will help enable users to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize their PostgreSQL environments, ensuring performance, uptime, cost management, and sustainability. As part of the role, they will also create and promote solutions that allow customers to visualize their complex data infrastructure and seamlessly manage diverse deployment models through a universal interface.

Your impact will be:

  • Working cross-functionally within EDB, across engineering, marketing, sales, and other functions to take ideas through the entire lifecycle, from ideation to production.

  • Working with customers to understand and incorporate their feedback into our product vision while also being an effective evangelist for EDB and our offerings.

  • Collaborating with product and engineering peers to deliver your product’s roadmap.

  • Making sure our engineering team is always fed with a prioritized backlog of features with clear acceptance criteria.

  • Supporting our Sales team. Collaborating with product marketing and enablement to ensure the field is prepared to support new releases.

  • Bringing an inquisitive, innovative & collegiate attitude to problem solving.

What you’ll bring:

  • Demonstrated success as a product manager for complex, data-intensive infrastructure software and observability tools for enterprise customers.

  • Exceptional communication skills. Able to explain complex topics and provide audience-appropriate summarizations.

  • Solid understanding of modern product management principles and product development processes.

  • Solid understanding of database fundamentals (types, uses, and features of databases).

What will give you an edge:

  • MBA with a technical undergrad degree preferred, but not required.

  • Understanding of the Postgres ecosystem, used/managed Postgres.

  • Knowledge of OSS and OSS communities (not just Postgres, though that’s a double plus!).

  • Previous experience deploying, monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure software at scale as an SRE or similar type role would be plus too!
