We’re seeking a Senior Analyst, Practice Operations to join our Analytics team, enabling physician leaders to make data driven decisions on financial, operational, and clinical opportunities. This person will be responsible for developing ad hoc and scalable analyses, reports, models, and presentations for independent owners of Privia Medical Group primary care, pediatric, women’s health, and specialty care practices. 

Primary Job Duties:

  • Develop benchmark comparisons and financial models to project the economic impact of changes to practice staffing, patient access, productivity, payer mix, clinical quality, workflow, risk adjustment, revenue cycle, etc. 

  • Analyze practice financials and identify strategic interventions aimed at increasing practice profitability, alleviating cash flow problems, etc.

  • Propose and implement improvements to efficiency and scale of analytic products and create enterprise analytic tools to support operations teams

  • Utilize structured analytical thinking to synthesize valuable insights and present findings to physician executives, market presidents, and practice consultants 

  • Discover and implement process improvements to improve analytics team efficiency and scale analytic product solutions

  • Analyze primary care practice’s effectiveness executing against Privia’s population health strategies under value-based contracts and alternative payment models 

  • Contribute to strategic plans to improve physician satisfaction, access, and quality of care

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, finance STEM or related field or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years’ experience in consulting or healthcare analytics

  • Experience optimizing the performance of a healthcare organization, preferably an independent provider group

  • Ability to think critically, applying analytical frameworks to complex business problems to synthesize insights

  • Experience using Excel to create financial models, visualizations, and consumable reports for end users

  • Experience using SQL or Snowflake SQL in large relational databases to query and cleanse data

  • Experience analyzing financial statements

  • Experience presenting results clearly and concisely

  • Experience creating reports through BI tools, such as Tableau, Microstrategy, QlikView, and/or Looker preferred

  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations 

The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $97,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 15%. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
