This role is an important part of the Revenue Operations team and is responsible for managing the Salesforce.com environment across all business functions. This position will be the focal point for all Salesforce.com activities including sales process planning, integration to marketing/finance systems, ad hoc projects, reporting and custom development. Responsibilities also including the training of new users and troubleshooting problems to ensure efficient and effective utilization of Salesforce.com for all stakeholders.

Essential Functions

  • Support revenue leadership through capacity planning, productivity review, market segmentation, territory carving, quota/incentive design, and headcount allocation

  • Build and drive process, change management, and operational efficiencies within revenue teams

  • Maintaining SFDC data accuracy for territory and account assignments, goals, account hierarchy, and age of pipeline, tasks, and projects

  • Manage Salesforce.com including support requests and escalated administrative needs of users  

  • Partner with all relevant business functions to develop efficient workflow processes and standards

  • Focus on user efficiencies, solving business/customer issues, invent creative solutions, and ensure data accuracy across the system.

  • Keep up to date with Salesforce releases, features and best practices. Make recommendations to management regarding implementation as appropriate

  • Perform complex data loads and own Sandbox and release management processes

  • Participate in change management process. Drive communication efforts across relevant stakeholders.

  • Evaluate complex business and technical requirements, communicating inherent security risks and solutions to technical and non-technical business owners.

  • Develop and maintain end-user training documentation and deliver training as required

  • Support, analyze, and resolve critical production application issues as required

Minimum Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in sales operations roles, preferably in high technology-based SaaS environment

  • A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a sales operations management role

  • Excel skills are a must, SQL experience a plus

  • Comprehensive understanding of sales processes and methodologies in a scaled sales organization

  • Expert in Salesforce with excellent analytical, reporting, data manipulation, dashboard creation and business intelligence skills

  • Proven track record of effectively interfacing with cross-functional departments and sales management teams

  • Strong leadership and management skills

  • Superior presentation and communication skills

  • Ability to gather requirements from multiple stakeholders and translate them into well-defined requirements 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce.com Certification and SFDC Administrator Experience

  • Experience with MEDDIC

  • Experience in both SalesCloud and ServiceCloud

  • Experience managing a global team of direct reports across revenue operation roles

  • Experience with integrated HubSpot, CPQ, and/or NetSuite into Salesfoce.com

Working Environment/Physical Demands

  • Primarily remote with occasional travel as needed.

  • Long-distance or air travel as needed – not to exceed 10 % travel. 

  • Activities require a significant amount of sitting at office and work desks and in front of a computer monitor.
