As a leader in the financial technology industry, Wealthfront empowers individuals to take control of their financial futures through high interest saving, automated investing and financial planning. Wealthfront is growing at a rapid pace, and we are excited to scale our paid marketing efforts. We are looking for a Sr. Manager of Paid Marketing, who is an expert on paid search (SEM), Google Display channels -  Performance Max, Demand Gen, and programmatic display. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of strategizing, executing, and optimizing paid search and Google Display campaigns to accelerate customer acquisition growth. He/she will also have a breadth of experience across other performance marketing / DR channels, and can capture demand opportunities from our other campaigns across the marketing funnel.

The ideal candidate is well-versed in quantitative and qualitative marketing analytics and can build a culture of insight-driven decision making. He/she will also partner closely with leaders across Data Science & Engineering, Product Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, Consumer Research and Creative to deliver on our goals. 

We’re a remote-friendly team and open to candidates from the US and Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Strategize, execute, and scale marketing campaigns across paid search (SEM), Google Display - Performance Max, Demand Gen, and programmatic display.

  • Partner with paid marketing teammates to identify and maximize acquisition opportunities - demand capture from our upper/mid funnel marketing, retargeting, etc.

  • Expand Wealthfront’s growth levers through new performance marketing / DR experimentations - identify, evaluate, and execute opportunities that align to company goals and objectives. (i.e., programmatic display, landing page testing / optimizations, unlocking new DR channels, SEO ).

  • Develop and own marketing plans for customer acquisition growth - from channel evaluation to test designing to campaign planning to launch and measurement.

  • Manage and optimize marketing budgets to ensure efficient allocation and maximum ROI.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Data Analytics, Design/Creative, Engineering, and Product Marketing to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.

  • Monitor key performance metrics, analyze campaign effectiveness, and generate actionable insights to drive data-driven decision-making. 

  • Present paid marketing performance and insights to cross-functional and executive teams on a regular basis.

  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for experimentation and scaling.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.

  • 6+ years of digital marketing experience in a B2C environment (consumer tech experience with a high growth company is a plus) with demonstrated success of scaling programs for paid search, Google Display - Performance Max, Demand Gen.

  • 3+ years experience managing other performance marketing / DR campaigns, and having expertise in full-funnel marketing.

  • Proven examples of impactful projects translating  data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

  • Experience running A/B and multivariate experiments within paid digital channels

  • Personal finance knowledge/experience is a big bonus, but not required.

  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory considerations within the financial services industry is a plus, but not required.

Estimated annual salary range: $149k - $163k USD, plus Equity.
