About You
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Manager, Creative Operations to join the Nutrafol Creative team and oversee the creative resourcing and process of all creative briefs across all channels, with both internal and external teams. Must have experience with in-house creative, marketing, and growth teams. Bonus points for experience with retail design teams and digital product teams. As our Creative Ops manager, your primary role will be to lead all aspects of a project through completion: receiving briefs, negotiating timelines, communicating the requirements and scopes of work with cross-functional partners, coordinating resources, managing workloads, communicating status updates, and ensuring the successful delivery of expected deliverables.
Cross-functional communication and ability to maintain a clear macro picture of the entire creative department's work while also being deep in the details of each project is crucial to the success of this role. This can be a fast-paced environment, with shifting priorities, so the right candidate will thrive in ambiguity and be able to create structure where there is none.
Responsibilities
Support all Creative initiatives by applying project management methodology to outline and execute end-to-end project briefs and project plans.
Clearly define objectives, stakeholders, resources, outcomes, and measurable success metrics.
Iterate timeline development with predefined deliverables, due dates, and key milestones.
Help strategically manage bandwidth and allocations of Creative team members.
Maintain frequent communication of overall project status with key stakeholders through formal status meetings.
Carefully review incoming projects and content briefs to validate that all required fields are defined.
Maintain vigilance at all times on in-progress and outgoing briefs, to ensure asset review and delivery deadlines are met in a timely manner.
Help iterate and evolve processes and look into new helpful tools, as needed.
Review and evaluate briefs in terms of needs and schedules, while providing creative solutions for challenging situations.
Requirements
6-8 years of experience in project management for an in-house marketing or creative agency; Sephora experience is a plus
Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, and Asana Project Management tool, as well as the project management software landscape.
Solid background in project management with hands-on experience in the creative development process.
Good understanding of project management principles.
Demonstrated experience in managing projects of low to medium complexity, while handling multiple concurrent projects and ensuring successful completion.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; team player with excellent people skills.
Attention to detail and in-tune with problem-solving, while ensuring consistent communication.
Proven ability to handle stressful situations, deadline pressures, and tight deadlines.
Proven negotiating skills with cross-functional teams.
